Movie 1: 3D-representation of a wildtype embryo
The movies (1 & 2) show a 3D-representation of the development of a wildtype embryo (movie 1) and the development of the cmd-1 RNAi embryo (1) (movie 2). Each sphere represents a nucleus of the developing embryo. The movies start at the 12-cells-stage and end at the premorphogenetic stage (approximately 400 cells). The cells present at the 12-cell-stage and their descendants are marked by the colour code shown at the bottom. The well formed y-shaped structure of the ABarp lineage (pink) at the premorphogenetic stage seen in wildtype is not formed in the cmd-1 RNAi embryo. The cells of this and also of other regions are misplaced in the cmd-1 RNAi embryo (see also the ABpra region in light green or the ABprp region in yellow).
